That's photoshopped; look underneath the left side of the M, there's a smudge mark. I took a class in Graphic Design, so we did a unit on photoshop, so I recognize these things.

But then we'd have an extremely buggy alpha build and the project may fail. I've seen GitHub projects that flop because they rush to get into the alpha stage.
Taking time is a good thing. Scratch 1.0 took 4 years to make, and it turned out really good.
