In Vector, there is no way to erase except the eraser. I am suggesting an additional tool/button that converts shapes into negative space. It would erase the space beneath the negative if grouped. This would make it much easier for scratchers to design costumes for sprites if wanting to be precise.

I like this idea. I know Inkscape has this feature or something like it. I would support a “negate” tool. (I would also recommend changing the thread title to something like that, because “Addition to Vector” is extremely ambiguous)

I like this idea too, It's useful if your drawing some sort of thing.

Support. I like to make precise and detailed costumes (at the expense of my sanity) and this would be a cool addition.
