How can I make it so my answer shows up on what a sprite says?

Example:
Q: What's you name?
A: Edward
Reply: Edward is a nice name.

Please Help!!!!!

In the “sensing” group there is an oval shaped block “answer”. The answer to a question is stored in there. So you use that in a “say” block on a sprite. You can join some text together with it using the “join” block (in the “operators” group).

Say join( answer | is a nice name)

As mwiedmann said, there's a join block and answer block that will be used to make this script.
Here's a picture, for your convenience!

Hope we help!

Both of the people above are completely correct. I'm surprised that there are barely any posts here that haven't been answered! You guys are so great at this that I can't even help!

when green flag clicked
ask [what's your name?] and wait

I'm a decent coder who has a huge passion for coding. I taught myself all the coding skills I have now. And with those skills, I have made some pretty decent projects, check them out! Be sure to ⭐ ❤️ & Follow, too! I have a few pictures below which are actually links. Click on them to take to different projects that I made. Might come in handy. :)

Need a project where you can check to see if you can use someone's camera or not? Here's one:

Need a project to detect when someone has clicked the stop sign? Take a look at this:

Need a project that can point at specific clones, etc? Why not use this:

Need to prank someone? Tell them to click this picture, but also make sure they're signed onto Scratch, otherwise, it doesn't work:
