MY BACKSTORY
Everybody has a backstory. Even if it is you being born a few days late, or you skipping class once or twice, everybody has a backstory. Here is mine… I was born and my parents immediately divorced. Then after about half of my pre-K year I left the school. I would never sleep at nap time, I would distract people during work. My parents took me to a therapist to see why I was like this. The therapist let me play in the room for a little bit. Soon she asked me questions and diagnosed me with… ADHD. Obviously I didn’t know what that was so I didn’t even care back then. Both of my parents worked so I needed a babysitter. We found lots of them but most had problems with them, the babysitter hated me because I had ADHD. The first one would lock me in a bedroom. The second one has a longer story. One day I fell down the stairs and my babysitter never said or did anything about it! Things got a little better when we found a babysitter that cared for me. Soon I went off to the first grade. Things soon got better, but then worsened. I was told that next year I could be part of the gifted program, a program that the smartest kids in the school got to participate in. The principal there hated me though, he was hard on me and never understood my problems. So my mother homeschooled me the next year, I never got into the gifted program. I still had no friends, not one. No one had my back. Until the third grade came. I met my BFF! We had drama at first but we are still friends today. She is still my only friend today as well. Luckily things started going uphill for me until this happened. I was on the bus one day but when I sat down the kid a sat with told me that someone tried to get me in trouble. “scrach-gacha is standing up!” They said. Soon fifth grade came and my parents said that they thought I was a bit depressed. I was shocked but still somehow believed it. Now I’m in my first year of middle school and things are already getting worse. Virtual learning came. People keep hating on me but who knows what will happen next?

The PoP Situation and How to Help:

PoP got raided. We've moved to a new studio but the damage is still colossal. I recommend that if you don't remember your account number/balance, just look through your messages. You'll eventually find some helpful info there. Being active in the recovery studios helps out a bunch. We need all the help we can get to restore PoP to its former glory.

PoP today!

PoP is an awesome mall sim, for it has inspired many other mall sims! Though we have just experienced a huge and sad raid we are quickly recovering. When I first got here I felt so exited! Now we have a whole new banking studio and are quickly recovering from the raid. Managers are still working tirelessly and everything is going great. When I became a PoP member I thought this was another one of those dying mall sims with, like, 3 or 4 banking studios but in reality it’s been growing ever since I have gotten here. Overall, PoP has grown so much and we have almost completely recovered from the raid. New members will be coming soon and PoP will be completely recovered. All we need to do now is wait patiently and things will be completely fixed, and managers, keep working hard, because of you PoP is almost completely recovered! That’s all from me for now, bye!

Blaze threatens the nation
Starvation
Ruination
Common sedation?
There’s no salvation
No work, no purgation…

Stars go nova,
The world turns over
Spinning through space.
Things are changing at a crazy pace
The mysterious
Future
Will never fade.
The sun and the shade
Shine shadowed and bright
Peace and fight
Health and blight
Wrong and right?

We shun the dark,
But we’re blind to the light.
Even clouds have shadow on the inside.
Migration, inflation, reflection, temptation—
Make way for destruction and creation!

First off, I’d like to say that I love music, and I know that a lot of other people do too! It just warms my heart whenever I hear a beautifully written piece. I also love to look for original songs or noteblocks on scratch, though there are not as many as games or art pieces. I love to write songs, sing, dance, and so much more to them! I’ve been inspired by so many artists, and I hope you will be inspired by them too; maybe even try to learn a new musical instrument!

Recently many people, including me, have begun to notice things around Scratch. Bullies, impersonators or troll accounts that used to be rare now have become commonplace. I recently read a older speech for my advanced language arts class written by a Holocaust surviver. It was about Indifference. (The title was literally the power of indifference) Indifference is when somebody is aware of a problem, but does nothing about it. Scratch does not have that seriously, but some people are indifferent to bullying, trolls and other problems like that. Something we should start doing is messaging the Scratch Team, not by comments, but by emails. Us Scratchers can only do so much, like raising awareness of these problems, reminding others that trolling isn’t cool and checking in on people that have been getting bullied here, but the ST can do more. They can ban, block and protect us like an army does a country. We MUST start notifying them of problems, instead of dealing with problems ourselves. Yes, should also take care of issues ourselves, but to a certain extent. When it gets to the point of us insulting the bully, we need to step back. It’s no use getting muted or tempa-banned over that. So Scratchers, let’s start notifying them on these issues, and keep Scratch safe. Thanks, Rai

The earth quaked and shaked violently, and the earth split open, cracking, as the glass shattered and fragments of glass and ashes from the sky came down in torrents. People were screaming and crying, and I didn’t know what to do, I was frozen in place. The volcano erupted, and magma came raining down and flooding the streets, and I knew I had to get out of there quick before I ended up dead-or everybody else being dead as well. “Follow me!” I ordered, hand cupped over my mouth for protection. I started to run. Hopefully, I could outrun the volcano’s intense lava. The sky was darkening quickly and thunderclouds looked to be on their way.
I gasped and ran faster, quicker than before. “We have to go!” I urged everybody.
“It’s catching up!” I ran and ran, my heart beating rapidly in my chest, panting and gasping breathlessly as I went along.
