Can't find the ghost effect

So I'm kinda new to scratch, but I'm trying to make a fade out effect with the ghost effect. But I can't seem to find the ghost effect in the looks area.

Can't find the ghost effect

It appears in the menu as change color effect - you select ghost in the drop down list of options for the block.

Can't find the ghost effect

Go to looks, drag the block which looks like
change [colour v] effect by (25)
Tap the box, a drop-down will appear, click “ghost effect”. When added to a code this should change ghost effect. There's also a set ghost effect block:
set [ghost v] effect to (0)

Can't find the ghost effect

I can't find the ghost effect anywhere, and I've tried searching in all of the places you guys have said. All it says is “pitch” and “pan left/right”. Any tips?

Can't find the ghost effect

_189948_ I will give you step by step instructions hopefully this helps!
1. Open your scratch project
2. Go to the looks section (The purple blocks)
3. Scroll down until you see the Hide and Show blocks. (Those blocks are in the looks section)
4. Three blocks above the Show block is the “Change Colour effect by 25” If you can't see it another way to find it is that it's the block under the “Set size to 100% block”
5. Drag the Change colour effect by block to the code section of your project
6. Select the drop down menu on the Change colour effect block and choose ghost. (It's the last choice on the drop-down menu)
7. You now have the ghost effect block!

I hope this helps!
