How old should you be to go on scratch

A friend's adopted sister is now using scratch. I've seen some inappropriate projects on here, and I'm worried that Jaguar (That what call her) will run into them. She is 5 and here's the question: Should I let her use scratch or not?

it’s really up to you, but report ANYTHING that you think is inappropriate, the ST will only ban people who report projects just because they don’t like it and other reasons like that. They will also ignore any reported comments which aren’t inappropriate.

Scratch is a site for all ages and is a beginner friendly coding platform. Its either your decision to let them use scratch or their decision if they want to be on scratch.

I think Jaguar is pretty mature. The only thing is those projects….

I feel like more than 90% of scratch projects are appropriate and the 10% that is not appropriate on scratch rarely shows unless you search it up.

There is no set limit, but realisticly, I think a lot of users started at age 8. That doesn't necessarily mean that you can't register at a younger age.

Guys, I will try all this stuff, and also, Jaguar is throwing a fit about scratch JR. Oh and its a diff invite ur followers studio

Let her use the real scratch and tell her that if she sees anything inappropriate that she must report it.
