Yeah, I figured. I'm assuming the ghost emoji is just an easter egg for people sticking their nose where they shouldn't be

And i see now, so back to the subject…
Okay, here's something else I noticed:

I discovered this on a random project made by somebody else during 2.0: For some reason the “when up key pressed” and “when down key pressed” hat blocks also respond to scrollbar input. It's been this way since at least 2.0 and once again I've never heard anyone else talk about it. Maybe it was mentioned in a tutorial somewhere, I don't know. Clearly someone had to remember it for it to be ported to 3.0, at least. Maybe this is really common knowledge to everyone else, but it totally blew my mind. Not even the Scratch Wiki mentions this
Haha not checking the wiki go brr
Why did I use that as the text

Why would somebody ever use this? I doubt anybody wants to read every single post in every single topic across all forums.

Although, I'm not certain if this is topic is a good fit for QaS. Or any forum for that matter. I remember a few months ago, a lot of forums like this got closed.
Yeah, I don't even know why that's there.

It wasn't on the Scratch wiki page for the block itself though, and that's what I was looking at.

Wait, is it the one where Scratch cat is siting next to a whiteboard and there's a link to the ST's twitter feed?

literally every downloading related subdomain i can find is wack in some way.
https://download.scratch.mit.edu/
https://downloads.scratch.mit.edu/
https://downloads.scratch.ly/

disclaimer: sometimes my posts are pretty critical of the scratch team (especially my older ones), but i really do scratch & scratch team. jvvg made a short essay thing about the scratch team, which is a pretty good read, if you want a different perspective for the scratch team's actions.

Are you allowed to link any of it?

This isn't really a “feature” but I remember when the “Music notes” sound category was being added to Scratch 2.0, there was a period of time in which the category existed but there wasn't anything in it. I recall someone making a thread about it and a Scratch Team member responded something like “Good catch, we're still working on implementing it.” I don't know, I just thought that was neat.

I think the 10000 following limit is neat. You can only follow up to 10000 users at a time. This was put in place to prevent those “follow every user” accounts, I'm pretty sure.

I found an instruction manual for Scratch 1.4. Neat.
Scratch is a new programming language that makes it easy to create interactive stories, games, and animations – and share your creations with others on the web.
It's not particularly interesting but it's something. I guess it's kind of a little window into how people felt about Scratch at the time, which is cool. If you use Scratch a lot it's hard to go back to a mindset from before you started using it.

That is literally Scratch nowadays, minus the “new”.
