The list could go on and on, but hopefully you see what I'm getting at. I think it would be cool to have a rank system on the forums. As well as little emblems next to the rank. I've seen this on multiple forum sites and it's always a cool touch. Your thoughts?

The closest anyone was to legend was veggie man, and he had less than 1/5 of that in 3 years
I don't support ranks because it encourages competition

haha, tis a rough sketch of the ranks! ^~^
And as long as the competition isn't inducing arguments or fighting, why should it matter?

I also do not support ranks. I believe that this would encourage spamming just to increase ones rank. I also don't believe that the number of posts reflects how important/helpful one is on the website. While I post a fair amount (usually trying to help people in QaS), I don't think I post as much as some people post on things such as collab threads, and under the system you proposed that would make them more important than me, while I believe we are of equal importance.

Besides the New Scratcher one, I don't support Ranks on Scratch.
And yes, competition will induce arguments or fighting, and also spamming and bragging.

Ahh, equal importance. I think that's the goal of this website in general, so this suggestion is useless. Oh well. Just a thought ^~^

I support partially. I have some comments about this. Oh, and if in one of the comments I say support, it means that I agree. Newbie - 50 posts or less

Newbie: No, I can't support this. Some scratchers might discriminate the “newbies”
Scratcher: I support. However, a New Scratcher does not get promoted just because of the number of posts. A new scratcher can have over 600 posts and remain a new scratcher.
Helper: What do you mean by helper?
Moderator: Support
Scratch Team Member: Support. However, it should just be shortened to Scratch Team.
Legend: I don't support.

I seem to remember the Scratch Team had confirmed that there would be a another rank between scratcher and moderator, who are manually promoted by a Mod/ ST, for people who have consistently shown that they are helpful and have advanced knowledge of scratch. This kind of thing could be useful as New Scratchers would know who to ask/who to trust when asking questions.
