May I suggest changing it from ‘views’ to ‘plays’, and replace the eye icon with a monochrome ‘green’ flag icon? It's much more clear what you really mean by this count and users from the old site won't get confused when they get dozens of views on unshared projects.

i dont think it would be all that confusing.

not you specifically, but there seems to be a lot of underestimation going on for the old site and for new users. people are not this easily confused; we are smart.
