A character is in a situation where it seems like they’re gonna die, and then someone appears out of nowhere and saves them. Usually the ex machina moment doesn’t make sense at all and feels forced out of nowhere.
This has happened a few times throughout the series. I haven’t seen enough of the anime to know a moment in the anime where that happens (though there certainly were times that legendary Pokémon helped the characters get out of a bad situation). However I know it’s happened in the games, and when it happens in the games it usually makes sense.
I haven’t reached that part yet, but when N comes in to yeet Ghetsis that could count as an ex machina moment, but then it became a bad thing because Ghetsis was like “ok I steal ur dragon now lol”

“ok I steal ur dragon now lol” is the best sentence in that paragraph

Ghetsis would 100% be a dark type. Secondary typing might be fighting, as it’s clear that he would be violent without remorse (such as HITTING LILLIE). Maybe fire, because he’s angry.

Colress would be steel/electric. Maybe psychic because he’s a scientist and scientists are smart.

I’d say N would be a grass type but that’s mostly because of N’s hair. I dunno why but I sorta see N as a fairy type? His sisters described him as having a pure heart and fairy types are very pure.
Also, N probably likes “girly” stuff. Idk why I just think he does. (Autocorrect changed it to doesn’t…)

flying because of the name and hair, fairy because she is kind yet is a prankster
dark because she is a prankster and can be cunning at times
electric because she is very energetic

i would be fairy/psychic because i act all sweet and happy but there's a lot more going on inside my head
ellie would be fire/fairy because she has a short temper but means no harm and still cares about her friends
carrie would be poison/fighting because she's a little rude at times, but she's tough and can stand up for herself
hop would be fighting/electric because he's energetic and he's determined

There was a lot of talking in that topic, mainly because of how many new people joined. While there was some spam, a lot of it was just pure conversation, and I think it's fine that that topic only lasted 3 months because what really matters is what we said inside of it.

So this is kinda funny.
I was looking up on Bulbapedia about the Seven Sages. There’s one named Ryoku, which is kinda similar to Roku, like Avatar Roku from… well, Avatar.
Then I found out that one of the members, Gorm’s, Japanese name is Azula.
Azula is a character from Avatar who is Zuko’s sister.

I found this kind of funny because I say that N is like Zuko and Ghetsis is like Fire Lord Ozai.
I think about ATLA way too much, don’t I.
That’s because it’s clearly one of the best cartoons in animation history!
When rewatching ATLA after it was brought back to Netflix I noticed a surprising amount of similarities between it and BW. Maybe it’s because I was playing the game at the same time as I was rewatching the show, and that made me think about BW more frequently. There really is a lot of similarities between BW and Avatar, which might be a reason why I like it so much.
I can create a post listing all the similarities between gen 5 and avatar if ya like.

I've heard people talk about what type they'd be, but for me I genuinely don't know.

I almost feel like Rock would fit me, due to hard hard it is for somebody to change my mind on something when I have an opinion in-place. Steel wouldn't because I have a pretty low pain threshhold, both physicaly and emotionally, and I feel like somebody who would be like a steel type wouldn't have that, while Rocks are more brittle.
(I don't even have too many rock types in my all-time favourites)
I suppose Grass, Water, or Bug would fit as well because I like going out walking a lot.

For my type, I'd probably be Fire-Psychic. Fire because I have quite a short temper (and also because I love sitting indoors by the fire on a cold day lol), and Psychic because I'm logical and quite good at puzzle-solving.
I'd be weak against Water (I'm possibly the worst swimmer you'll ever meet) and Dark (I have a terrible fear of the dark for some reason-) and would resist Ice (I actually quite like the cold, but not enough to be an Ice-Type) and Fighting (Brains over brawn, I don't know xD)

I would be Ice or Dark. Dark because people think I'm weird and mysterious and I often tend to lash out. Ice because of my past. I would be weak to flying (hate heights) and resist fighting (because i can fight well tbh). I would be strong against fire (I like heat and will often weaken it too) and psychic (i can think mega fast and *snap*)
