Remove the Antarctica location
The reason scratch puts are countries in is to gather data for Statistics. But they are ruined with this location. Although it said 0% and is not counted, they are missing out on people who put ‘Antarctica’. Please remove, no one lives there

Remove the Antarctica location
Users use Antarctica as a location if they don't want to share their location. Plus, what would happen to all the users who use Antarctica as their location? Would they be prompted to change it, would it stay like that, or would it just break the system?
Also, Antarctica is a joke location. Same with a bunch of other locations like Heard Island and McDonald Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and North Korea. Would those be removed?
Also, notice how on the stats page Antarctica says 0% despite all the locations that have Antarctica? That was probably intentional to solve this problem.
Having Antarctica as a location has no problems, and it is nice to get a good laugh once in a while.

They will be asked to change the location. If they do not, it will be under ‘location not given’

Let me see the chance a researcher or something in Antarctica is using Scratch:
There are approximately 7,828,563,588 people at 3:18:35 PM GMT-6.
Statistics show 62,961,152 users registered right now.
Dividing the population by users is 124.339586226.
This shows there is approximately 1 in 124.339586226 a person uses Scratch at the time 3:18:35 PM GMT-6.
There approximately 4,400 people living in Antarctica right now.
If we divide the population of Antarctica by the chance people use it, it is 35.386960288.
This means there are around 35 people in Antarctica who use Scratch. Now, the number is probably lower, but there is a solid chance someone in Antarctica uses Scratch.
We could be taking away the location of around 35 people, making them seem like they don't want to reveal it. This would be a big deal.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Remove the Antarctica location
I'd rather have data missing due to people putting “Antarctica” rather than have false data due to people putting some other fake location. There will inevitably be people who put fake locations because they don't want to share where they live — and there isn't anything we can do to stop that.
I think this is a case of “It already exists, and it causes no problems, so there is no need to remove it.”
