A Function to make sure users read the Stickies
It's better for someone to have a bumpy start to the forums then not using the forums at all.No support. Stickies are big long posts. Maybe for TOLORS only, and I`d support. It's better for people to know how to use the forums then to have them make a rejected suggestions.

It's better to have people who know what they're doing rather then have the dustbin topic have 4160 pages and counting. It's better for someone to have a bumpy start to the forums then not using the forums at all.No support. totally not elitist
People learn how to do things in time. You didn't get born knowing how to play Scratch, it was a long road until you could even make that forum post.

I do not believe this would actually help. Here are some reasons:
1. Let's say, for example, there are 15 stickied topics (which is a pretty average amount, at least for the suggestions forum. Now, let's say there's a user who usually just sticks to the suggestions forum, but likes to sometimes branch out a bit. If the user EVER wanted to go on a topic other than suggestions, It would take about a half hour per topic. Let's say they wanted to go on 3 different topics. That's an hour and 30 minutes of time wasted.
2. Just adding back the Scratch directory and encouraging users to search for topics before adding them would save time, resources, energy, and server space.
3. A lot of people would decide that it isn't worth the effort and then there's less people discussing topics and then a lot less productive things actually get done.
4. It would be just plain annoying to have to take that test for every topic I ever wanted to go on.

Also, suggesting an already suggested topic is just not a big deal.

people can and do not follow the instructions on the popupSame with just giving a popup when people join the forums
Quizzes are sometimes fun I think there should be a “Sandbox” or whatever and see if they follow the guidelines in stickies.a sandbox is…
I do not believe this would actually help. Here are some reasons:You only have to do the test once, when you go to each forum, you don't have to redo it for every topic, plus you can read the posts in a topic without doing the test, you just have to do the test to post there

Cons
Hard for the ST to implement
Discourages participation in forums
Confusing for New Scratchers

Bump.
I will try to limit myself to only one wacky one-liner per post but it's difficult as it is easy to think of wacky one-liners.
