My browser / operating system: IPad iOS 13.2, ChromeiOS 78.0.3904.84, No Flash version detected

In everyone's and anyone's projects, the sound does not play, I even go into the sounds of the sprite in my project and press play but it still does not play (It shows it is playing but i don't hear it)

Anyone have a solution?

Check that you haven't accidentally either muted the tab or done something in settings that mutes Chrome. I'm assuming you've already checked that your device is playing sound elsewhere, right?

Hm, I can hear sound in youtube on Chrome. I don't know how I have “accidentally” muted my tab, so, I don't think that is the answer. Also, on Safari, the same thing is happening.

I'm running into the same problem: a simple project, the sounds works fine on macOS (both Safari and Chrome). But the same project (or any other project, not even playing the sound in the editor) doesn't work on iOS (iPhone or iPad, tried Chrome, Safari, Brave). Other websites (eg. YouTube) plays sounds fine, so I think it might be something with Scratch website specifically. I tried to “unmute” site but couldn't figure out how to do that with any of those browsers on iOS.

As a test, I just went to “See inside” on my project and clicked play on just one of the sounds (not within a script). I can see the bar moving across the sound as though it's playing, but no sound actually plays. And yes, my sound is on and the sound works fine for other websites/apps on my iPhone. It's just Scratch.

Oh, this happens when you leave the page for a while, this happens to me too, it’s a tab problem, I’m sure refreshing will help it!

It doesn't fix the problem for me.

I have the exact same problem, running the newest iOS on my iPad, no sounds in scratch.
Refreshing tab (or restarting browser, pad, etc.) doesn't help.

i found it. the problem is that you are in dont disturb mode, or the no notifications mode. thats why there isnt sound.

It could be you muted scratch the way to fix that would be the lock icon by the url. then change sound to allow.
it could be your volume is off, so you might want to check that.
your device could be connected to bluetooth without you relizing.
if not then i dont know
