Green Flag Suggestion
My suggestion is simple-(wait like everyone starts their posts with that)
Start every project with a green flag in the scripting area. This would be good for new scratchers.

Support, I can see a use for this!
There wouldn't be any code under it, so it's perfectly harmless.

Some of the tutorials do not even use the green flag block, so if anything this wouldn't do much except cause more confusion.

This is absolutely dumb I know, but I feel like the Scratch Editor kinda represents a clean slate. You are free to create almost anything.
I'd like to keep that ‘free spirit’ mentality by starting the editor absolutely empty.
I know that's the stupidest thing I've ever said so please don't slam me for saying that

I support. Just seems cool to arrive in the Scratch editor with a block already waiting for you that you're probably going to use (if you don't delete the cat, that is).

No support. I often start by building my custom blocks. If it was optional then support..

This is absolutely dumb I know, but I feel like the Scratch Editor kinda represents a clean slate. You are free to create almost anything.Well, you're just going to drag it in, and to me, it seems clean, as 95% of projects use it.

Haha, maybe it could already be everywhere, every sprite, every backdrop, thanks. This is absolutely dumb I know, but I feel like the Scratch Editor kinda represents a clean slate. I'm not sure about that, at least not on the backdrop. Deleting the “pop” sound is easy enough to forget already. Also there's only one backdrop.-snip-Haha, maybe it could already be everywhere, every sprite, every backdrop, thanks.
Hmm…maybe toggle?Yeah, I like this idea more. Though good luck getting the Scratch Team to approve a suggestion involving user preferences…

If it is only in the cat it wouldn't annoy most people since they delete the cat and it would also be good for new users as they tend to use the cat more. It being in every sprite and backdrop would be very annoying even for people who use it.
