Is Scratch OK with guns?

Hi! I was about to make a MAP part based on Among Us, and the script says that the impostor shoots the victim. However, I am pretty concerned if guns are generally allowed on this website. So, does the usage of guns violate Scratch guidelines?

Realistic guns and blood are not okay. If you wouldn't show something to a sensitive 4 year old don't post it on scratch.

I'm not sure,but I saw many projects that had realistic blood and death, but there was a disclaimer saying it is rated 13+.
If you CLEARLY make a disclaimer in the title or opening scene that it is for mature audience, then you'll probably not get reported.
But, I would recommend giving it another name, because “Among Us” is supposed to be “family-friendly”,so many “kids” will check the project out, because anything that has “Among Us” is cool.

This is based on my knowledge on the subject, but you should probably ask the Scratch Team.

If it's lots of blood or gore, don't
just make the victim just vanish without any context after shot with the gun

You will actually. It is against the rules to post any age restricted content.

Warnings will make it even worse, because little kids will get curious. It's natural to want to see what makes a project have warnings, so in reality, it will do the exact opposite of what you want it to do.
For this reason, warnings are not allowed.
(The only exception to this rule is flashing lights, headphone warnings, etc. However, mature/age warnings aren't allowed.)

Guns are NOT allowed on Scratch since its shooting and killing. If it's been shared, it can result in a remove. The project should be unshared.

that is not true, as 4 year olds are not part of scratches demographic. maybe an 8 year thinking it is fine would be fine.

Well, yes, but actually no.
It is true that scratch's key demographic is 8-16, but the site is intended for all ages.

It's often taken on a case-by-case basis, some get removed some get NFE'd. In your case, that is a definite censor, and I would suggest revising the scene (you could have the impostor Thanos-snap the crewmate out of existence, for example).

Laser gun that zaps people into thin air? Probably OK.

Content on scratch mist be appropriate for all. The game in question has unmoderated chat, extreme violence inflicted on unarmed characters and deceit.

Guns are ok on scratch as long as you don't go overboard with blood/gore. Keep in mind that you will get NFE'd.

I'm 9 and younger so I might be able to help on the younger kid sensitivity part! My answer: I think it is fine as long as you DO NOT put any blood, gore and don't add any use of it. even do I do watch my dad play a game invlolving guns all the time

Basically, make it cartoonish with barely any blood and you'll be fine.

That doesn't mean that 4 year olds are not aloud on scratch.
