You can get MTG online which is free, I don't have it so I don't know how you get more cards though.
You can also download MTG Arena, which is also free.Well, I guess I'll download those games if I ever get a better computer.
A “real” starter deck should cost about less than 15$.

XD DO you know untap.in ? I wouldn't recommend it firstly, but it's a place to free-play card games. There's a another one similar, tabletop simulator, but I don't know this one. They're websites, not softwares! You can get MTG online which is free, I don't have it so I don't know how you get more cards though. You can also download MTG Arena, which is also free.Well, I guess I'll download those games if I ever get a better computer.

Bump.
Hey guys just had an idea! I dear you!
Make a custom MTG card that represents anything on Scratch!
Just remember to stay respectful, follow Community Guidelines and be creative!
Some ideas of cards, about:
- yourself or a project you made
- the “bump function”
- an element in Scratch's website's anatomy
- a block or a program
There are many sites and softwares that allow you to make custom MTG cards. My favorites are mtgcardsmith.com and an app, Artificer.

Edit: I'll make a project to put them all together.

do you prefer to play draft or sealed? I have quite a lot of experience but I have never played in any sort of tournament because I mainly play online. just curious.

YES! I finally thought that there might be a topic about MTG! Then I checked! Yay.
Anyway, here's a list of all my commanders, and now some one gets to guess which is the best:
My first deck: Pantlaza, Sun-Favored it's a dino that makes more dinos when a dino enters! Note that this is not the precon and it was made separately
My first precon: Dogmeat, I haven't upgraded it enough and haven't had time to sit down and see what it needs other than the cards I pulled out and put in. It's a Voltron deck
More of my precons: Caesar, a guy that makes soldiers and The Wise Mothman, a part man, part moth, part owl thing that makes rad counters, both of these I haven't upgraded a lot, because I've been focusing on this next one
Take the Dr. Madison Li precon, then combine it with the Aetherdrift Sahilli precon, and you get a pretty decent energy deck. I don't care what you think about energy! It can be really, really good if you use it right!
Most everyone who plays MTG knows who it is, it's Krenko! I shouldn't even need to say which Krenko, you should know. I was on vacation, and we found this cool card store, and they were selling mystery packs of commanders, so I got one and pulled Krenko!
One of my few planeswalkers:(, the Dihada precon! It's a planeswalker that love legendaries!
Finally we have the Ureni of The Unwritten! It's a dragon that makes more dragons! Sounds familiar, right?

i have an interesting (imo) commander deck that centers around proliferation and poison counters
it's fun but i built it pretty early into my mtg obsession so it can absolutely be stronger
i'm thinking abt looking for stronger cards for the deck (at least online, prob cant afford anything too good <:3)
