How on earth do I upload sounds from my computer

if <(answer) = [no one know]> then 

  
say [Thanks for tring to help, I will look for a tutorial] for (2) secs

say [HELP ME PLEAS!!!!!] for (2) secs
end
switch costume to [:]<<Happy> and <Christmas>>
set pen color to (Enjoy!!!!)
say [Rely appreciate the help] for (2) secs

I am a scratcher that has never achieved to upload a sound

ok i can help go to sounds on a sprite on the bottom left corner you'll see a new sound button hover over that and click upload
also can you send me a link i want to see
btw i made this in 2 min dont juge

Yea, but in what format do I upload them because I got some records saved in my computer and when I try to upload them it doesn't let me upload them to projects.
BTW I just wanted to know so I don't have inks

You have to have it in .mp3 format

You can have them in WAV format. But it's generally not recommended since the file size is larger and the music sounds better and Scratch can only support a certain file limit. But Scratch always converts mp3s to WAV, so I think that's the only reason why WAV files are supported.

The format need to be mp3. wav also works but it may crash for longer sounds

On the bottom right corner there is a button, hover over that and its right there
