blacklist 18+ or 13+

when things usually say 13+ or 18+ in it its most likely inappropriate or trying to lure someone/people away

i think it might be better to blacklist it as a whole

this is probably one of my dumbest suggestions

No support. Reports can take care of this. Bots can't. we don't have the resources to make a bot that will detect 18+ or 13+ content, even if the words are in the title or desc.

These are complex, likely too complex for a bot that the Scratch Team can and would want to build with limited time and resources.

I don't think a blacklist would be fair? Not everyone on this site is 10 years old…

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean by “blacklist”. If you mean people under that age won't be able to see the projects, then that also isn't fair because many projects that are pretty much fine are rated “13+” for essentially no reason.

I think they mean you aren't allowed to type “13+” in the comments. You don't get a warning, just something like how the filterbot says something contains a link to unmodderated chat.

they mean to blacklist the phrases ‘13+’ and ‘18+’ in comments and descriptions

im just trying to discourage use of 13+ and 18+ because it can be used inappropriate uses because people clearly dont understand that warnings dont do anything, so, i am now unadding adults only and teens only from the blacklist because it leads to infinite problems and because people never say “adults only” or “teens only” normally. they only say 13+ or 18+

Even if the blacklist doesn't let you put those words, people would just remove the words and share the project anyways.
