Re-add "Echo" Sound Effect
Support,
I don't think new scratchers will be overwhelmed by it. I mean i guess if i was new and i saw that many buttons (which by the way it's only one more button) i would be *m i l d l y* scared but i would quickly understand what each button does and have lotsa fun! I would quit scratch entirely just because of the sound editor. Also i believe the robot effect is pretty useless since no-one uses it so… It would be nice to replace the robot effect with the echo effect.

Re-add "Echo" Sound Effect
I tried to select the sound almost to the end And Pressed ‘copy to New’ and I made this
Try It! Also, I need echo but I found A Idea to come back to life!
when green flag clickedNote: You don't need that pick random block, You can set the secs to 0.25 to 0.5
set volume to (100) %
repeat (10)
play sound [ whatever at almost to end v]
wait (pick random (0.25) to (0.5)) secs
change volume by (-10)
end

Bro tell the ST, we really need that echo filter back. When I started scratch it was there, now it's not.

Re-add "Echo" Sound Effect
I'm actually beginning to get a bit annoyed with this claim “Let's replace robot effect with echo effect”. I absolutely see much potential in the robot.
And why get rid of robot specifically? I'd much rather choose to get rid of “Mute” instead. It is the exact same thing as snipping out an entire song, which you can do without the “snip” feature.
Does this sound reasonable?

Mute is pretty useless if you really think about it- not only can you just snip the song, but you can also just spam “Softer” for the same results And why get rid of robot specifically? Mute lets you remove part of a sound without changing its length. I'd much rather choose to get rid of “Mute” instead.

As literally everyone else said about the echo and the robot:
Which would you use more: The echo, or the mute?

Can someone give a link to a project with this effect? I'd like to know what it sounds like.

I actually use mute quite often. Which would you use more: The echo, or the mute?
Workaround: Just use “softer” until you can't hear that portion of the sound.

bump
The snip feature and the mute feature are completely different. And plus, you don't even have to remove any. there is already a perfectly fine but hidden “more” button that already exists in scratches code

I know that you don't have to remove any. It just annoys me how people are saying “Replace robot with echo”.

we need mute though, just in case we have a song that is not clean.

Then just make it softer and softer until you can't hear it. This is actually the third time I've had to say that.
