Restoring deleted projects
Where is the restore button?
There is none, which is why I think this suggestion is a great idea. for restoring projects emptied from trash
There should always be a time period to restore when you delete things.
There is a time period to log back into your account after it is scheduled to be deleted.
There is a time period (until you delete another) to restore a deleted sprite.
There is ctrl+z if you accidentally press “Delete 1089 Blocks” when you meant to “Add Comment”.
There should be a time period to reverse emptying trash.
These arguments:
Why would you put a project you wanted to keep in the Trash in the first place? To be honest, you'd probably only put it there if you didn't like it, so deleting it wouldn't really be much of a hassle… I would've thought that the original “putting in the trash” could be considered the first deletion, and “put back” could be restoring it. “Empty Trash” would be the permanent deletion. No?
Well, if it's in your trash folder, you can recover it. If you empty your trash, that means you want to permanently delete all of the projects in the trash folder. You can already restore projects from the trash, and emptying your trash permanently deletes everything in the trash, so no support.are flawed because if someone hacks or guesses their way into your account and deletes and empties your projects, you did not get warned and you did not mean to empty the trash and you did want to keep the trashed projects.

If you were hacked, this was implemented, and he wanted to delete your projects, he could just delete all the code inside them. Also, the trash itself acts as that time period.Where is the restore button? There is none, which is why I think this suggestion is a great idea. for restoring projects emptied from trash

Now, hacking, that would be super rare. Like 1-5% of Scratchers have been hacked. If you were hacked, this was implemented, and he wanted to delete your projects, he could just delete all the code inside them. No Support, isn't the trash already a thing. If you wanna delete something from your trash, then you should be sure you want to delete it forever.

Because the user did something like give away some kind of info SO the hacker could hack.Exactly! Now, hacking, that would be super rare. When you empty the recycle bin on your computer, it doesn't have a restore option. And someone can hack into your computer at any time. No support.

Semi-support. I don't see many costs to this but I don't see many benefits.
There's a warning before you empty the trash, requiring you to enter your password.
Not many people get hacked, and besides hackers could do more than just empty your trash.
I just don't see why the Scratch Team should put effort into something that wouldn't do much imo.

If you are able to restore deleted projects for a window of a few days, you have a chance to get back all the projects you emptied, not just the first 5.What's the difference thenThe same place projects normally go when you delete them.
