What will we do each day?
Each day of Bootcamp, two banners from past Bootcampers will be posted in the day's post (posted in the morning/late the night before, depending on your time zone - see the timezone graphic for more info). After looking over the post and the banners, you will go over to the Mentoring Hub and write up about one comment's worth of feedback for the banner maker. This includes what they did well, what could have gone better, and a hypothetical challenge for the next day. Once you post your feedback, your mentor will give you feedback on your feedback! You'll use this to help your feedback to be better the next day. This might seem confusing right now, but once we have started it is pretty simple and your mentor will help you out.

Is there anything I should do to prepare?
Good question! Here is a quick list of things you should do:

☐ Make sure you're following this thread.
☐ Make sure you've accepted your curator invitation to the Mentoring Hub (if you've been in a past session, you'll need to do this again as we've cleared out all curators).
☐ Check out the Hangouts studio if you haven't already - we have some fun activities going on there to get to know each other and make some new friends!
☐ If you'd like, look at one of the old mentoring hubs to see what we are looking for in feedback, to see the calibre and style past mentors have used.
☐ Please ask your mentor any questions you have about Bootcamp!
☐ Get ready to have fun!
