Hey everyone! Please don't necropost, this thread is very old and the OP doesn't seem to be needing any more answers. What is necroposting? Necroposting is when you post on a thread that is typically 1 month or older and usually resolved. Why is necroposting bad? It bumps the topic up to the front page and might confuse the community, which I believe falls under the “Tricking the Community” section of the Community Guidelines (CG). How can I prevent myself from necroposting? Look at the year- or month the post was made, look for time jumps, and look at the last post made. If the thread is older than a month and inactive, best not post on it, instead request for it to be closed by hitting the Report button on the number one post and type in: Please close so it doesn't get necroposted. Or anything nice to the ST. Doing this too often however, could result in a warn. This rule does not apply to:
Off-topic forums, the Suggestion forums, (and the language forums?)
