The bot censors anything from google drive- even if it is just a file with no editing. The ST cannot view every single google drive link to see if its just a file, so they ban all instances of those links.

It'd be hard for the Filterbot™️ to check every single Drive link to make sure it's completely free of any sort of unmoderated chat, so the Scratch Team just banned Google Drive altogether.

Actually, google drive links aren't allowed either:
No, we don't allow google drive links because they can be used as unmoderated chat.

Better to block all mentions of it than run the risk of people sharing DM usernames.
As a Discord user, I can confirm it's not that inappropriate, however basically all communication methods there are user run and mostly unmoderated.

Discord sure is a normal English word, but so is every single swear word. F and S were the normal words for reproduction and excretion until the Normans came along, A can be used to describe a donkey, B is a dog, D is a name, C-u and C-o is for organs, and don't get me started on the racial slurs! H and D-a stopped being bad since the internet, and an alert is surely bound for me. (It's been 10 hours and haven't gotten an alert yet)
So kids, what did we learn today? Words that are bad can be good, and words that are good can be bad! Language and society sure are complicated!

Ugh, all of this is just discord.
(Discord is another definiton of “disagreement between people”, see what i did there?)
But it's really hard for filterbot to understand what the users mean, so even tough they use the word discord, nothing will happen to them (They will just get a message from filterbot)

Yes, discord is a normal english word. It's not uncommon for companies to name themselves after words in the English language, thus Discord is also a chat site. Even though it in itself isn't inherently dangerous, little kids who won't know how to manage themselves there could get in trouble. It's a very big problem of people sharing their Discord usernames, even though they know of the ban, so they blacklisted the word. I'd say it wasn't very effective, because I still see people putting it on their profile.

no if you write discord it says it contains a link to a unmoderated site even though it is just the word discord Yes, discord is a normal english word. "discord" is a normal english word
i searched up “what does discord mean” and is is a SIN
"But contrary to this: In Galatians 5:20, dissensions, i.e., instances of discord, are posited among the works of the flesh, concerning which it is added, “Those who do such things do not attain the kingdom of God.” But nothing except mortal sin excludes one from the kingdom of God. Therefore, discord is a mortal sin. which means it is a word that is bad like H*ll
