so I want a want a way to detect if someone using your project is a new scratcher. REASON: for new scratchers who don't yet understand that they can not play cloud games, they will load up my game and no understand why the don't see there friend, sure I can say it in the Instructions but if they are new to scratch they will not understand. thanks!

say [you will not connect on this game, you are too new to scratch! :/]

no support, this would allow for projects that could only/couldn't be played by a New Scratcher

No support, you can do that with cloud variables, by changing the cloud and reading it. If it has not changed, then they are a new scratcher

I support this. Your reasoning is super solid and this would be helpful to new users who don't know their way around the website yet.

support, some new scratchers don't know about new scratcher status and excluding is already banned

How about instead it's a “Scratcher Status” reporter like this:

Yeah, this does seem to be the same idea - though I'd note that if the goal is to determine if someone is able to use cloud data, it would be better to propose a block that reports that instead of a metric that's merely a proxy for it.
