Clock Town: A Platformer (Game Layout and Ideas)
BIO:
Clocktown, A Platformer: You are in a little town that the people's lives center around their clocktower. These people think their clocktower is the god of clocks all over. One day the clock on the tower stops working. The people are panicking because it is stuck in daytime. Your job is to go throughout the town searching for 5 new gears that could fix the clock. The places you need to go are, a house, a sand pit, a sand temple, a sand cave, and finally beat the boss for the last gear. Enemies include: scorpions, bats, birds, sharp rocks… Abilities include: Double jump, quickness, 10 more health(making a health bar maybe), a sword. Collectables include: Gears, coins, clocks, enemy tokens. This is also a scrolling platformer. The boss would be a rock man. The Rock man would: Crush you, throw rocks, and shoot one eye laser.
GAME LAYOUT:
- Levels/Scenes(In Order)
- a. Clocktown
- i. You start in the town.
- ii. You start following signs that point to the mayor's house collecting things and fighting enemies on your way.
- iii. You find and enter the house.
- b. Mayor's House
- i. You start on the bottom left of the house.
- ii. You need to go up the stairs.
- iii. You make your way to the mayor's room collecting things and fighting enemies.
- iv. You talk to the mayor and receive a gear(#1)
- v. You jump out the window of the mayor's room.
- c. Rooftops
- i. You fall onto the roof.
- ii. You jump roofs collecting things and fighting enemies.
- iii. You finally reach the last roof and go down its ladder.
- d. Desert Area
- i. You made your way to the desert
- ii. You pass little sand dunes collecting things and fighting enemies
- iii. You find a little decline in the sand dunes.
- f. Sand Pit
- i. You walk into a pit.
- ii. The pit stops declining but there are little bumps everywhere.
- iii. While walking you find things and fight enemies.
- iv. After awhile, you search the sand bumps trying to find a gear.
- v. You find a gear(#2).
- vi. Sand starts declining even more
- vii. As you decline, the sand turns to sandstone.
- g. Sand Cave
- i. You continue to decline.
- ii. It gets darker
- iii. You are in a cave system and start collecting things and fighting enemies as you go.
- iv. There are little crystals that drop on you when you try passing.
- v. at the end of the cave is a gear(#3)
- vi. Elevation starts increasing and changing to sand and gets brighter.
- h. Sand Temple
- i. Sand stops elevating.
- ii. Goes into sand temple.
- iii. Collects things and fights enemies as you move along the temple.
- iv. You try to find your way through the temple.
- v. You find the Boss room.
- vi. You fight the boss and need to win.
- vii. When boss loses you collect gear(#4) dropped.
- i. Pyramids
- i. You get out of the temple
- ii. Shortly after, you find a BIG pyramid
- iii. You climb the pyramid.
- iv. You find a gear(#5) at the top.
- v. You head down the pyramid.
- vi. You find a portal.
- j. Clocktower
- i. The portal leads to the bottom of the clocktower.
- ii. You do some good parkour all the way up to the top.
- iii. You insert all five gears in the slots.
- iv. If all gears are collected then you get the win screen. If you didn't collect all gears then you are sent to the start to get the rest.

Awesome bio! Im exited to work on this! And were lucky to have such a good leader like you 
But im not sure about the art style. I think scratch—pixel wanted it to be pixel, but idk what we decided in the end

But im not sure about the art style. I think scratch—pixel wanted it to be pixel, but idk what we decided in the end
