Eh… semi-support. It would be useful and helpful at times, but I'm happy with the old version.

If this is added, I'd like to see a square pen as well, but anyway, I support your suggestion. When I've done bitmap graphics in Scratch, I've found times where it would've been helpful.
Anyway, I decided to make a mock-up, if anyone's interested:

Very much needed, at least for the brush. I don't even know why there is still an eraser tool, because the paintbrush can be used as an eraser.

nice idea. supportPlease state why you support. People didn’t explain why in previous posts because that was back in 2014, when that was permitted.

Anyways,
The eraser shapes seem like a good idea, as it allows to have more precise erasing with sharp corners. However I don’t get the point of rectangle as you can just use square and swipe to the left or right a bit. Rectangle should be replaced with triangle.
