Yh i think an app would be very usefull as you can chat on scratch quicker on a phone and i totally need it

I don't think so, just because there is a workaround dosen't mean this suggestion is invalid.

You can't talk about things in the Chrome Store.

A mobile app just for receiving notifications? I don't see why you would need that - a social Scratch app in general is probably a lot better than just something for getting messages. You wouldn't even be able to respond to them, I don't see the use at all.

Oh yeah, I didn't think about that. In that case, Scratch Notifier is good enough.

If this caught every message, I feel that this would probably somehow encourage popularity, which isn't the main purpose of Scratch. I'm also pretty sure there won't be a huge percentage of people who are compelled to immediately respond to each comment, people are busy sometimes: imagine trying to fall asleep while you were alerted to an important comment, you'd likely respond to it the next day without a notifier app. So I don't think it would be better if this was an official app by the Scratch Team.

If you are interested in this kind of app, there is already an unofficial app called Scratch Hub by PackersRuleGoPack and Will_Wam which will send you messages to your iOS device when you receive one on Scratch. To be extra safe, I won't link the project.

You arent allowed to share extensions on scratch

Personally, I would want to see an actual scratch mobile app. There are several chrome extensions where you can just get notified of a new message(not like I get that much, but whatever.)

Or they could just implement it into the website. I'm pretty sure most modern phones allow notifications from websites

There is a website already and I think it wouldn't be as difficult to do this. I hope it'll be made!

I think @World_Languages has one, but it’s only on Apple and it’s not a 3rd Party app.
