Why can’t you program your own blocks?

I mean. Scratch is a beginner website right? And there are these things where you can create your own blocks. And you can’t code them like a expert. So we have to use blocks to program them to create them. So why can’t you really program your own blocks?

Create your own block using [code] for a few hours

You have said it yourself:

Scratch is for beginners , you can still create your own custom blocks though.

It’s code. The thing you use to program your apps or any website.

But Scratch is designed to be for beginners. They (remember that it is targeted towards kids) don't necessarily need to be thrown in to a text-based or highly complicated website or phone app developing environment. If you have no experience, then Scratch is where to start, with the basic and core concepts of programming.
I would think that advanced stuff like this is completely out of the scope for Scratch.

Its Rejected Sorry

2.2 Text-based syntax in Scratch
Some users wish to code Scratch not with the blocks, but with typing code instead (similar to how more advanced programming languages work). Others are interested in an option to view, convert, or download Scratch code to other programming languages. However, the Scratch Team has discussed this possibility multiple times and has decided every time that it would not be beneficial for beginners or for teachers.

This suggestion extends to coding, viewing, converting, or downloading Scratch in any text-based language, including BBCode, Javascript, some form of pseudocode, or some other programming language. If you wish to code using another language, then you can learn it on your own, but it would have to be done outside of Scratch. For those who are interested, it may be worth checking out Tosh. It is a text-based programming language which serves as a text editor for Scratch projects.

Well scratch is old enough to reach this much accounts and none of the Scratch 0.0 projects work on 3.0 today. And I hope it’s not gonna take a long time like it did to get 2.0 on scratch.

Who makes scratch anyways? [It’s not a fudge snow threw at the ones who took so long to make 2.0.]

It's rejected, and that won't change.

Scratch is created by @mres or Mitchel Resnick and developed by the devs and maintained by the scratch team.

That’s because scratch coding is not about learning a whole new programming language as well as scratch. The custom blocks we have already allow you to do this, and ultimately there is not much difference.

What do you mean? Scratch 3.0 can still run older projects made in Scratch 1 and 2. (Modded projects won't work though)

Oh, those ones. You can't open them in Scratch 1.x,
even though Scratch 0 and Scratch 1 use very similar code.
