Way to share project files in forums
yeah, sorry about thatbut how does this have anything to do with that?that wouldn't be good. When you click “Play now”, it will open in the online editor, right? No, it pulls up a “Forum Player”
Sorry, forgot to change accounts! :)

Maybe a better solution could be to just be able to upload/embed/play projects in the forums. Selecting a file would upload it to your scratch account and share it. Otherwise you could choose it from a url of a shared project or from one of yours. I can't tell you how helpful this would be on help with scripts or show and tell. Even on the AT forums.

I went out dupe hunting, look what I found, wow, it's close, but that is only about SB2s. meaning these blocks:
define hi thereThe old 2.0 blocks
move () steps
say []
play sound [ v] until done
pen down
broadcast [ v]
wait until <>
ask [] and wait
<[] < []>
show variable [ v]
add [] to
Maybe something like this:
and it embeds the project? I don't know. Support, I guess.

Maybe something like this:That's not what the OP is suggesting- what the suggestion is for is a place to share projects that are too big to be shared onto the website, through some external thing.and it embeds the project? I don't know. Support, I guess.[project]scratch.mit.edu/projects/projectID[/project]

Support!
That sounds like a great idea, maybe instead you just use the project link!

Mediafire is mostly okay but Google Drive is illegal on Scratch.

Mediafire is mostly okay but Google Drive is illegal on Scratch.no, not illegal, persay, it's just not allowed, and of course, I only used MediaFire as an example

YOU KNOW I NEED A POST!How's this? It looks like this suggestion has been rejected previously. I don't see a reason why the description below should exclude .sb3 files, particularly that file storage must be saved somehow.
I'm going to close this thread. If for any reason you don't believe that your suggestion falls under the rejected suggestion below, use the Report button — I invite another moderator to give their input.
9.6 Allow files to be uploaded into forum posts
The Scratch Team would have to pay for storage of these files, and they only have a limited amount of resources to do so. Storage space would be better allocated toward Scratch projects, anyway. There is also the issue of someone uploading a file that can potentially cause harm to someone's computer. Searching through these files would require significantly more moderation work, and there are not enough moderators able to do the job at the moment.
