This forum topic is for anything related to Topological Space. Discuss the game, post level codes, ask about my experiences when making the game, tell me about any bugs (I cannot guarantee that I will fix them, though), or anything else related to the game! More information about it is below.

Description
Topological Space is an artistic and simplistic platformer game with an implicit and literal twist: the space in which you move in is not your ordinary topology! Rather than moving your character in a closed box, unable to move past the edges, you are able to “loop” past the edges. Go all the way to the right, and you'll suddenly appear at the left! Fall to the bottom of the screen, and you'll go right to the top! Some spaces may even change the way that directions work. You have 150 levels to get accustomed to these new topologies!

The main inspiration of this game comes from a mathematical field known as “topology,” the study of surfaces and how they can be deformed. One of the coolest things I learned about topology is how to construct certain objects from a square, simply by identifying certain edges as “the same.” You can see this Wikipedia article for some pictures about this. In Topological Space, you explore platformer physics in the spaces of a torus, a Klein Bottle, and a real projective plane.

I was also able to program a level editor for this game! I am particularly interested in seeing what creative levels that Scratchers can come up with, given these interesting new platforming physics. I definitely plan to play your levels when I get the chance.

Frequently Asked Questions
This is where I will post any frequently asked questions about the game.

Are all the levels possible? Yes, they are; I beat them myself. If you suspect a level is not possible, view the walkthrough videos above to see how to complete it.
Why are controls in the Klein bottle reversed? This is intentional, and it is due to how we may expect physics in the Klein bottle to behave. The reason why you appear at the opposite side in the Klein bottle is the same reason why the left/right controls are reversed.
What do the arrows on the sides represent? They represent how the physics change when you pass through those edges. If one arrow is moving the same direction as the arrow on the opposite side, then the physics don't change. But if the arrows are moving the opposite directions, then either your left/right or up/down movement gets flipped. The arrows are what mathematicians in real life use to model this phenomenon.

Your level seems to start in the center, and causes it to glitch. I wonder if this is because you uploaded it before saving it. I'm not sure what else the issue could be, so I will look into this…
