My brother, [removed] was banned from Scratch, fairly. I read some of his comment threads, and they were very rude. The ST said that he would be unblocked on Thursday, and before then, he did not know that he wasn't allowed to use alt-accounts, so he was blocked for longer.
So… I had a look, and Scratch had been giving him admin notifications, even after he was blocked, which is quite unfair and then he was Permablocked. He has sent 2 appeals, and the only responses were automated messages. I heard they may decide to just turn the block temporary, once they know he understood why he was blocked. His appeals were ignored, so I think Scratch should always reply personally to appeals, instead of ignoring them, even if it is to say that they will not unblock them, as he does not know what will happen next.

Appeals sometimes take up to a month, and to my knowledge they are always read. Alt accounts are not allowed because if you are blocked, the Scratch Team does not want you on Scratch because you broke the Community Guidelines. Also, please remove the username from your post.

Nevermind, just realized that only Scratchers can edit their posts.

We do, in fact, always read appeals. I think we were pretty clear in saying that you should take a 1 month break before trying to come back to Scratch. Please respect that and wait for a month before attempting to appeal again, and then we'll be happy to discuss reinstating your account.
