Anime/manga Recommendations and Age Ratings ~ PLEASE COMMENT AND RECOMMEND!!!

There is no issue with No Game No Life if you look past the fanservicing, which despite me really enjoying the anime, I also thoroughly disagree with (I myself am not even interested by fanservice, I watch for the show)

The story is subjectively well written, but that doesn't mean you have to enjoy it, it just ticks all the boxes for not being bad down to the way it was written. The animation is incredible and the prequel film No Game No Life: Zero is good. I wouldn't say it's as good as the anime, but it's certainly very enjoyable.

Of course, if you're young or are disturbed by the level of fanservicing No Game No Life uses, it isn't for you. If you are only (for instance I'm 15) and that kind of thing doesn't bother you (I try to look past it) it is a very enjoyable show…

…I am very glad my parents never entered my room while I was watching it, however.

Anyway if anyone wants some actual down-to-earth suggestions, then Wataten: An angel flew down to me is a really good anime, I'm currently watching it and loving it.
Nichijou is very good as well

bruh that ain't how it works. literally no story is objectively well-written because the values that we decide make a well-written story are completely subjective. if there is an objectively well-written story then no game no life definitely ain't it.

the reason why i hate no game no life so much isn't just the fanservice though that is a LARGE part of it, but it's that EVERYTHING in the story is designed to be a wish fulfillment fantasy that rewards the characters for being terrible human beings. it's a glorification of being a miserable shut-in and i feel it's incredibly damaging to anyone who actually is trapped in that lifestyle. no amount of supposedly clever gaming tactics can save the show from that. sorry bro i'm probably being kinda intense but i just really hate this show

Sora being a terrible human being I can understand, Shiro being a terrible human being I can not.

Anyway, it's fiction, does it really matter if the characters are rewarded for being shut-ins. It's used as a major defining point of their character. I don't see how it could be damaging to anyone in that lifestyle, because they'll have a hard time being isekai'd in to a game world in the first place…

Let's see..

Squid Girl: It has some mild swears and one girl is gay but nothing really happens between them (if that bothers you, to me it isn't inappropriate at all.) PG

Anohana: Mild swearing and a LITTLE bit of *-y type stuff. PG-13

Charlotte: A little blood and mild swearing. Little bit of…THAT stuff but not a ton. PG-13

My Hero Academia: Little blood and some villains that are a bit creepy. One character who's a creep interested in * stuff. Mild swears. PG-13

I'll add more later
RE: Squid Girl, if characters being gay bothers someone, I think they have bigger problems than finding an anime to watch

Also I dread what the *s could be censoring…

Anyway like I said.
Wataten: An Angel Flew Down to Me (Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita!)
and
My Ordinary Life (Nichijou)
are both really good animes that are suitable for everyone.

Little Witch Academia - Normal girl goes to witch academy. Rated TV-Y7 on Netflix; mild language and Shiny Chariot's outfit is a bit revealing.

The Haunted House: The Secret of the ‘Ghost Ball’ - Brother-sister duo captures ghosts with their friends. Rated TV-Y7-FV on Neflix; may be a little frightening.

i haven't seen one punch man since it aired but from what i remember the violence was all pretty cartoony and silly, nothing really any worse than the MCU aside from a few moments

Naruto is a fantastic anime, although I reccomend watching the dub if you are trying to avoid most violence and blood. I am pretty sure the Naruto dub cuts out blood, but I have never watced it myself. It's about ninja who live in different elemental territories and fight using weapons and jutsu's. Jutsu's are kinda like magic moves but they use chakra. Your body only has a limited amount.

Perverted level: 6.5/10?
Violence level: 7/10 original Japanese idk english version probably low
Nudity: 5/10
Drugs/Alchohaul: 4/10

My Hero Academia is also a good one! It is very interesting and I highly reccomend it for people just starting to get into anime. It's about a boy who is quirkless, which means he was not born with a unique power like other people, but he gets a power from someome (not telling you who!) and joins a super hero high school, where they train talented kids to become superheroes to fight villains

Perverted level: 5/10
Violence level: 5.5/10
Nudity: 3/10
Drugs/Alchohaul: 2/10 (almost none)

You know, if you don't want any violence or pervy stuff or things like that, go watch Pokemon! There is absolutely nothing wrong with it! Not kidding! It's watced by people of all ages.

I didn't know scratch was also used for discussed for manga and anime but here we are. Also, my opinion, try Bocchi the Rock. It is my favorite anime and it isn't that inappropriate. (except for the drunk bassist that sometimes makes an appearance) The manga on the other hand, does have fanservice so I would stay away from the manga unless your don't mind it.

Inappropriate content ~ (nu - - - y)
Very dark themes ~

I'm okay with some blood and fighting and a bit of dark stuff, the main thing I don't wanna see is inappropriate stuff.

Examples of anime/manga I enjoyed ~

Ao Haru Ride ~
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 ~
Haibane Renmei ~
Nichijou ~
Usagi Drop ~

One anime I was wondering the age rating about specifically about was No Game No Life.

PLEEEAAASE give me recommendations~!

THANKS!!!

I recommend the One Punch Man anime - especially season 1 - and Demon Slayer up until the Mugen Arc (story gets a little odd and misguided afterward IMO). I also think the manga for Demon Slayer is nice to have since it has more details and story, though it's a bit expensive LOL

One Punch Man is probably for 11-12, and Demon Slayer is definitely 13+
