Dupe, but closed. I have seen a suggestion to add IOS emoji support and that includes pride flags (I think those exist right?)only the gay pride flag. I would like if a trans flag existed.

NO!
There has to be a limit. What would happen if Scratch added literally every single variant of the flag?
The default, 6 coloured pride flag sufficiently covers (most) LGBTQIA+ denominations, and virtually every other one is obsoleted by this. Most services which include a pride emoji usually only have 1 or 2 to keep the emoji list concise.
As said above, this is a duplicate but otherwise I mostly support.

I mean, there are official emojis on the internet for both flags, but that's about it. I would assume Scratch would add both and no more.I would like if a trans flag existed.

By both flags do you mean the pride flag and the progress flag? I think adding support for all pride flags may not work as there are lots of different sexuality and gender flags. I think maybe just the base flag may be best.I mean, there are official emojis on the internet for both flags, but that's about it. No support.
If the ST adds gay and trans pride emojis then it should add emojis for other important identities, such as:
> National flags (there are over 190 of them!)
> Flags of various ethnic groups
> Religious flags/symbols (for christianity, islam, buddhism, atheism, judaism, etc)
Given that Scratch is about programming and not so much about blogging, I'd prefer there to be no identity emojis than for there to be over 200 of them cluttering the menu.
There's also the factor that religious/conservative parents might hear about Scratch only to go onto the discussion forums and see a bunch of pride flags everywhere. After that, their kids might be unable to use Scratch, which would be unfortunate.

How often do you use emojis? How often would you realistically use this?

Ideally the parents wouldn't be homophobic or whatever, but many children have homophobic parents. They should be able to use Scratch too imo. And tbh the pride flag PFPs are a lot less noticeable than the emotes would be

They aren't being homophobic (though some might be). It's just perhaps they don't want to directly associate with such people, whether for personal or social reasons. Even I'm like that to a limited degree – I don't mind such standings but would rather not get dragged into their circles and issues.
I mean the LGBTQ pride and trans pride flags. I don't feel like the LGBTQ flag encompasses the gender identities, which is why I support a trans flag.
Ok bruh. There's a T in LGBTQIA+ for a reason…

If and when Scratch decides to support all Unicode characters, the standard pride flag, as well as the transgender flag, will be able to be typed, once Unicode 13.0 becomes standard everywhere.

I believe a lot of parents are homophobic even if the kids aren't.
It would be sad if they can't use scratch only because of that.
And we would have to add all nation flags and religious flags and many other.

Yet there's not an NB, is there? Only transgender is included in the LGBTQ+ acronym, and none of the other gender identities.I mean the LGBTQ pride and trans pride flags. I don't feel like the LGBTQ flag encompasses the gender identities, which is why I support a trans flag.

Gender is a very different thing from sexuality, and I believe that the trans flag covers the genderqueer identities while the LGBT/gay flag covers the queer identities.

That's why a + is appended to the end.

As others have said, the base rainbow flag is sufficient. Getting dozens of new flags for basically the same thing is just ridiculous imo. Besides, what do you think might happen next? Soon literally everyone is going to start clamouring to have their own flag included, LGTBQIA+ related or not.
