What is an aesthetic?

How and why should I use an aesthetic on my profile?

Aesthetics are very popular around Scratch because of their aesthetic and professional value to a person's profile. You may see someone with an aesthetic in their favorite projects that says “Welcome To My Profile” or you might see a linked gif across the thumbnails, causing the profile to be more attractive. No matter what aesthetic you use, it will surely draw attention and please other Scratchers' eyes. It also gives a professional look to a person's profile, and you can see that many famous scratchers use aesthetics. Aesthetics are bound to draw more attention and beauty to your profile.
We sell aesthetics in sets of five projects. This is the perfect number, as you can only see five of a person's favorite projects at a time. To display an aesthetic on your profile, start from the last project in the set and favorite them in opposite order. Then go to your profile and see how it looks! Occasionally, however, it will take a couple minutes for the projects to load in, so be patient if that happens to you. Once it's loaded in, you'll have a beautiful, neat new look to your profile!

Terms & Conditions

Section 1. General
1.1 No spamming. Too much unnecessary spam may result in being fired if you are an employee, and as a customer you should know proper etiquette.
1.2 Follow the Scratch community guidelines no matter what, and be respectful to the others in the shop.

Section 2. For Customers
2.1 Please give as much detail as possible in your order. Know that a lack of detail means that the person who does your order might get more creative with it, so if you want something very specific, be descriptive.
2.2 Expect waits of at least a day or two, depending on time zone differences and how busy the shop is.
2.3 Do not claim that you made the aesthetic.
2.4 Be kind to the person who does your order. If it isn't what you wanted, respectfully tell them that and tell them what to change.
2.5 If you read these terms and conditions, include the codeword chocolate in your order form.

Section 3. For Employees
3.1 Do your best work on the aesthetics. Don't slack off, make it how you would if the order was something you ordered. Follow what the customer requested.
3.2 Please be as active as possible.
3.3 To be an employee, you are required to be following the topic.
3.4 Don't take an order you can't complete.
3.5 Activity checks will occur on a timely basis, but not too often. Please respond to these to prove you are active in the shop.
3.6 You can recieve a strike if A. You do not respond to an activity check. and B. If you break any of these terms/conditions.
3.7 If you read these terms and conditions, include the codeword double-rainbow in your application form.

Board of Directors Information

If you are approved to the BoD, you are recommended to read through all the below information.

To be appointed to the BoD, you must fill out the BoD application form. Chairman and above can instantly promote someone to the BoD, with the president's approval. If the president approves, it will be taken to a vote with only the members of the BoD.

If you recieve two strikes while on the BoD, you are demoted from the BoD. That spot is now open for anyone other than you to apply for. If you are demoted from the BoD, you cannot reapply to the BoD for two weeks.

The PR officer, manager, and above manager can accept partnerships and federations. They must alert the president when a new partnership is formed or a new federation is joined.

In the case of a new BoD position, the person in the position below it will be promoted, and everyone below them will be promoted up one until the lowest BoD position is open, for any member of the shop to apply for. If the new position is the lowest position, then no one will be moved from their current position until someone applies for the new position.

No person can promote someone to manager or above other than the president. If you are a regular staff member and you know someone who would be a good fit for the BoD, recommend them to any member of the BoD, who will alert the president. If there is a BoD member who deserves a promotion, tell the president who it is and they will decide if this will be taken to a vote or if it will be rejected.

Suggestions

We are always open to suggestions! If you have a proposal for the shop, make a post about it. Large suggestions will be taken to a vote if at least two or three BoD members approve of it, while minor ones will be approved or disapproved by the higher up members of the BoD. They will not have a big discussion, but will be implemented immediately if approved.

Votes

Votes will be a regularity in the runnng of this shop. They are held for large suggestions, and other topics and ideas by the staff and by the BoD. BoD members will get two votes, and regular staff members get one vote. The president votes last, and in the event of a tie the manager is the casting vote, though they can vote normally as well.

• It started to become inactive, and so on October 24, @Catie623 decided to ask @art-aesthete about the future of the shop. @art-aesthete said that she did not have time for the Rainbow Shop, and left the future in the hands of @Catie623.
  
• @Catie623 created this 2.0 thread and got it up and running as soon as possible. She is looking towards a bright and colorful future for the shop!
  

When more things occur, the history will be added to. I am looking to fill this page with wonderful events and history, and to make memories with this shop.
