I think his color is a shade mix-up of orange and yellow which makes Amber since Amber's yellowish orange so scratch cats color is light Amber (not shiny nor transparent)

I was always under the impression that Scratch Cat was orange - though I'm pretty sure they can also come in many different colors. It really is up to the user on how they want to color them.

I believe the fur was considered to be dark apricot, but I don't remember where I heard this, nor do I remember if it was a reliable source. Nonetheless, he looks a bit like it.

There are many different words to describe Scratch Cat's fur colour. This website describes it as a dark tangerine, for example.

They meant gender wise, as everybody else was using male pronouns.

Hey, don't blame me (or the others). Scratch Wiki says that even Scratch Team members use he or him, even if they know that Scratch Cat is non-binary.
