How to make a platformer

Hey guys! can you post links to good tutorials on how to make a platformer.

Try looking at the scripts in my platformer engine. You can backpack the sprite but make sure to give me credit!

Basically my engine works by moving the sprite by a certain amount each frame, and then detecting if it's touching the map and moving it back. There's also some logic for slopes.

My engine has jumping. Basically, if the player is touching the ground and the w key is pressed, it sets the y velocity up. Go see the scripts to see how it works.
