I just have to say, ARCHERY IS HARD. my friends went to see Catching Fire and invited me. I was like “I have not seen the first episode, I'm not really into this Hunger Games thingy…” … then right after watching Catching Fire with them, I ordered the books online, read all three, watched the movies again and again and again, saved the soundtrack to my Spotify account and even went to learn archery … I consider myself a fan
This is coming from someone who goes to an archery camp every summer.

Well, that's film directors for you! But seriously, you think the Hunger Game is bad? Think of all us poor Percy Jackson fans! I just saw the first movie. There are so many differences from the book!

I flippin' love HG. A few years ago, I would read the book all day long and do nothing else than read it. Then I saw the movies, and oh my lord, since then, I was addicted to the Hunger Games x)

I've been a hunger games fan since like year 6 which was a solid 4 years ago
I do agree with most of you, the books are a lot better than the films, but I still think the films were great considering they only have 2 hours to fit an entire detailed book in aha. One thing I was annoyed about was in the first film - the scene where Cato kneels by Clove, begging her to stay with him. I think that was a really important scene in the whole book because as well as the hint of another hidden romance, it shows how even the most vicious tributes were just another part of their games and they had their own emotions and feelings even if they were forced down and concealed most of the time.
My favourite characters are probably: Finnick, Cato & Clove, Rue and Prim

ooh, I'm on book 2: Catching Fire. The first one was better, but it's not bad. Who knew that Cinna was a rebel (at least partially)!?
