Shops are filling up the requests forum

Hi, I've noticed that the request forum is.. 80% filled by shops, when you make a request it gets to like page 5 in about.. 3 hours, this wasn't really the point of the requests forum (the way I see it), I'd appreciate it if you'd fix this issue, thanks!

For the people who think this is a copy of my old closed thread: yeas, but paddle2see said I should make it more specific, so I'll try doing so.

You can't post unless:

You're being nice and respectful.
You're reporting something not mentioned before.
Not just trying to get this closed by starting a flame war.
The topic isn't so active, I can't answer all your posts at once.

I might add in a few things we can get as much use of this thread as possible. Thanks for your time! All opinions are welcome.
I've noticed that one of you Called me stubborn last time, and I'm sure that the Scratch Team saw it, plus the “person” was a forum helper, I'm not so happy about this.

And please, no misunderstandings and lack of co-operation, that breaks the Community Guidelines, but I'm (sort of) sure that has no chance of happening!

hmm.. well one way is to try your idea, split them into two forums, but yes it DOES have it's downsides. Or maybe um.. well I never said i knew how, just gimme a moment to find a solution.

1. I never said it was complicated 2. ys they are good, but they're filling up the entire forum 3. I never said I wanted it to be removed, they're great but it's getting a tincy bit ridiculous 4. you posted this in the previous thread, and we did explain why you're kinda wrong. But thanks!

well, since we're here to chat about this, we can find a solution that way, so don't tell me i don't have a solution, help us come up with one.

Hmm…..Sounds like a good idea, but there's some problems:
1. What would happen to Requests Forums?
2. What happens if one of those Forums aren't active?
3. What's the difference between Requests and Shops?

2. What happens if one of those Forums aren't active?
3. What's the difference between Requests and Shops?

OK, so um,
1. people just order there, rather than going to shops
2. the shops will never be inactive, the requests will probably be slightly less but people will still ask for stuff there, i can see from what's happening now. plus the st can experimant with it.
3.shops are places where you ask for stuff, while requests are people asking for them without the order forms, terms, codewords, billions of banners and pictures etc.

Actually I did after one shop failed to do Image Hosting back then but the owner of that shop came to my Topic and helped me

Lemme just explain it more, once, i made a request, i wanted a few sounds so my games look more alive, so i made a request, when i come back soon, i see it waaaaay behind, i had to bump it, and bump it, and bump it without a rest, so i gave the link to a shop dude, the dude in the shop called it advertising and said it wasnt in the form of an order, so i had to put it in an order form, but gave up as that wasted a lot of valuable time. So u can see why requests are just as important.
