Trying to upload music from Youtube is pretty much impossible for me. my school blocks all yt to mp3 sites so I can't upload music so I'm just proposing that you can upload music from a youtube URL immediately.

No, that is illegal because it is copyright infringement. Also, Scratch doesn't need any converters, you could just find one instead.

What I am getting from this, is that you want Scratch to warp to your needs.
There's a good reason those sites are blocked. Most of them contain malware, NSFW advertisement, and stuff you don't need to view. If you really want to grab some audio, either buy a computer that's unrestricted, or just use an audio recorder to record the audio.
Using these sites is against the terms of use as others have said, and I don't want Scratch to be stereotyped as a copyright infringement website. If you really need some audio, get some from something like bensound or incompetech, which have free music you can use (with proper attribution)

The act of using those sites is illegal, even if you credit it. Please try to obtain the music in legitimate ways (it's called buying it !)

im not trying to encourage illegal behaviour, but at the same time i don't want someone getting malware by not using the right site.
there are plenty of YouTube downloaders, and a few without ads and stuff. i believe there's one made by a fellow scratcher, and also there's one i like which is made by some youtuber.
do not use youtube downloaders though, it's very bad and bad. if you really had to download from YouTube and somehow got permission from Google, theoretically speaking, there's an open source project called youtube-dl which you may or may not want to look into.

Many popular songs on youtube are mirrored to other music sites (ie soundcloud). You might be able to find a convertor to grab from there or they might have a free download anyway. Check the vid description.

As others have said, this is not allowed and is illegal. Instead of getting music from YouTube, I recommend going to sites with royalty free music such as Bensound. Remember that these websites often require attribution, unless you buy some really pricy license.

Please don't use youtube to mp3 converters, as they often contain pop-ups and ads that can be inappropriate, and opportunities for your computer to be infected by malware. You can find songs on scratch, and you can use them as long as you give credit. If you can't find a song, then there are ways to record the audio from the website.
