Most — if not all — of the forums deals in BBCode. I think that the user input is done in HTML5, and JavaScript is anything else.

Forum posts use BBCode but the DjangoBB it runs on is made with Python.

lol a bit off topic but hopefully in the future the scratch devs will move from using python and use something faster or a lang thats compiled instead of intrepreted, just for the sake of speed, and also memory

but yeh scratch blocks are made in python (;- and as others said js, and blah blah blah, the scratch website was obviously made in all your typical web langs (HTML, CSS, JS) and ye lol
