How exactly are "views" counted?
Hello!
So, I recently noticed the views in one of my projects move higher than usual. My brother (we're both signed in) has viewed the project multiple times.
How is a view counted? Is it the number of users that VIEW the project, or is it the number of TIMES it's been viewed by anyone?
Thanks in advance!

I think its everytime anyone views the project or your project may be popular.

I think it starts at 1, and changes by 1 whenever someone other than the creator clicks the big green flag that covers the stage when one first loads the project player.

When a unique user (one who has not clicked the green flag) clicks the green flag, a view is counted.

Views are counted when a unique IP (IP is like a unique ID for your computer) and account views a project. For example, if I logged onto different IP computers on the same accounts, my view would count as 1 view, though I used a different IP.

Sometimes, you just need to have faith in the Scratch Wiki to have some answers.Thank you for that! I really don't use the Scratch Wiki enough! XD

I thought it was by every time someone clicks the flag (besides me, of course). Thank you!

Views are counted by the number of people who view. If it was how many times viewed times the number of people, then you could do:
when green flag clicked
change [☁ views v] by (1)
and you wouldn't need “views”.

How exactly are "views" counted?
From my experience, it maybe is that every account visiting a project except for the creator adds views, and there’s a cooldown time for each time an account clicks it.(idk if this is true)please check the dates of a topic before replying to it, this is known as necroposting. thanks
