different users. means one visit per person is counted, not all of them

Yeah it means it will count only once for each person. So even if the person comes back again and again, it will only count their initial view

In short, it basically means the number of people who have visited the site.

basically, its how many different people (different ips ) go to the site. If me, my my neighbor, and my school teacher went on scratch for the first time, that would add 3 to the uniqe visitors. if I come on the site again after that, it doesnt count.
