Mini-game Ideas

I'm making a WarioWare type of game, and I need ideas for mini-games.

For each minigame:
  • Only the space bar can be used.
  • You only have 5 seconds to do each one.

So, any ideas?
Please describe how to complete the mini-game, and what happens when you press space.

get to the top of the screen before the time runs out (pressing space will rise him), or get 20 space bar presses before the time runs out

you could make something were you hold something and bring it to like a finish and you have to do that a certain amount of times

how would that really work with only 1 button though?

You could remake Vegeta Pull / Rhythm Tweezers from Rhythm Tengoku, it could easily work under a 5 second timeframe
And considering that Rhythm Tengoku also came from the creators of WarioWare, it should fit well

Hmm, maybe recreate that scene from “Give me a drink, bartender”? Where you've actually got to try and catch that drink?

Hey that's actually a pretty good idea
(The drink slides down the table and you have to press Space at the right time to catch it or else it falls)

Oh right, I should've mentioned what the space bar did as well. Pretty much what I had in mind.

Anyhow, another idea I've got is having a mini-game based off Wild Gunman, or at least the concept of two cowboys or something dueling it out, taking paces apart from each other.

There would be a clock in the background, and when it strikes high noon, you need to press the space bar as fast as possible. Doing it too early would cause you to miss, and then get shot, while doing it too late means you fail to shoot first, and get shot.

Ahhhh, gotcha. How about one where you need to spam the spacebar this time rather than time it?

A simple one sounds like having a pump attached to a balloon. You need to spam the pump as fast as possible to try and pop it as fast as possible, and you do that by pressing spacebar to pump it.

Although that idea has also been made, I have an idea for a spin on it-

how about pressing the spacebar enough to blow it up, but don't press it too much or else it will pop?

this would be kind of similar to the Float mini-game I have in the game, where you spam space bar to keep a balloon from floating too high or too low

What about a simpler Wii sports baseball, use space to swing the bat at the right time with a few different pitch styles and speeds, and some sort of subtle hint on when to swing

Could also be more Rhythm Heaven-esque, where you have to time multiple balls being thrown at you at the same time.

You could remake Quiz Show from Rhythm Tengoku, except just make it fast-

2.5 seconds for the guy on the left to press the buttons (presses will be random), 2.5 seconds for you to mimic

And of course instead of two buttons you'd only have the spacebar
