A non-completely and totally dysfunctional project takedown policy
As we all know, mass reporting is a big issue. I think the main cause is that the website automatically takes down projects that get reported a lot. Can you make it so whenever a project gets mass reported, it sends you a message so you can look at the project and make a conscious decision about whether to take it down?

Ok, first. Multiple IPs have to report a project. It then get takes down for moderator review. If it's fine, it'll get restored. The problem with this is that in appropriate project creators know they're doing something wrong, they won't put it down.

Can you make it so whenever a project gets mass reported, it sends you a message so you can look at the project and make a conscious decision about whether to take it down? Thanks for your concern. No, it's not feasible to check each project before it is taken down. The automatic takedown feature is there to remove inappropriate material as quickly as possible so as not to expose other Scratchers. It works very well most of the time. It has a number of safeguards designed in to it - however, there are a small number of “false positive” cases. If you have thoughts about how those might be minimized, while not removing the functionality, please let us know in another suggestion.
