Gobo used to be a fish, I don’t know what a blob is, so give me other examples. He is not a fish anymore!

Maybe Gobos just an alien. Like Tera, Giga and the others (excluding Scratch Cat obviously)

I would assume that Gobo is a species of animal named Gobo. They're sometimes misinterpreted as a plant due to being named after the gobō plant (burdock root).

According to the Scratch wiki article linked above, “Gobo was named by Scratch Team member Natalie. According to Natalie, she got the idea from Gobo vegetable, also known as burdock root in English. Gobo was originally named ”Blob“.”
So Gobo is closest to a plant. Gobo may not exactly be a plant but it's design was inspired by a plant so… Gobo's a plant look-alike?
