Hi people, I've recently found out that you can post an empty comment on scratch. if you copy-paste the “empty” space below and paste it on any scratch project and post it, you will see that you just posted an empty comment

yup, just copy-paste the blank space right on top and there's actually 2 emojis that work together to do the same too.
but i just can't seem to be able to post emojis here idk why

Same thing if you press space, and post it, it will post. Also, you can't copy and paste emojis, unless they are text emojis like : ) or ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

no if you press space it will say you cant post an empty comment

Hmm weird.

Anyway, I think that those are text emojis so they are fine.

Also if you make the color white and add something it will appear empty.

But I do not suggest you add an empty comment anyway

Crazy! I'll contact Scratch to fix this bug, but before I do, I will try this out for myself.

That isn't a glitch. There is a unicode character called “nothing” (I think) and you can post comments full of that.

and on the forums if you type “[” it will count as a character, but if there are two of them they're coded to dissapear.

you can use the unicode 3164 character to have a character that looks like a space.
