Age Rating System
I have been here since 2013, and I feel like this website needs some new features like a age rating system.
For example.
(Age ratings recommended for the website)
Rated E For Everyone (4+) - Every user can play this game, it has no swearing, no blood, or violence. It can also be a educational game.
Rated E10+ - Has some violence, and it's common used for fighting games (if you wanna remake something like Mortal Kombat or Bloodstorm, blood and gore has to be removed)
Rated T For Teen (13+) - Games that have some blood, a few swear words (minimum of 1-2) (This is commonly done for fighting games with some blood.)
(Age ratings not recommended for the website)
Rated M For Mature (17+) - As a Call Of Duty Black Ops player, these games usually have excessive swearing, and has a lot of blood and gore, and usually sexual themes.
Rated AO For Adults Only (Might be 18+) - Completely for adults, and might be NSFW.
I hope this will be added in the future.

Rejected.
7.2 A 13+ version of the Scratch website or age-restricted content
Scratch is designed for ages 8 to 16, but any content shared on the website must be appropriate for all ages. Dividing the community by making a separate, age-restricted website would not be helpful. Potential restrictions from entering the website (such as a warning, or requiring a parent to answer math equations) would not necessarily stop an underage child from entering the 13+ website.
This suggestion extends to age-restricting anything on Scratch, such as viewing specific projects. As a general rule, content shared on the Scratch website should be appropriate for all ages.

Yet, many of the projects on here. Are usually targeted to teens and adults. And many users make Inappropriate Content on here (For example some user got away for adding a NSFW art for 5 Years, and it's been deleted way too late)

This is regected, scratch is for all ages. A warning won't necessarily stop you from playing something, would a 5 year old not play minecraft because it's rated E10? No! And it will divide the community, and innapropriate content isn't allowed even with a warning.

Well, that's very bad. You should report those projects. They are not allowed at all. Also, this is rejected.Rejected.7.2 A 13+ version of the Scratch website or age-restricted content

Even if it is “All Ages” many projects have violence, blood and gore, and some have excessive swearing.
And once I found a project with a NSFW artwork that was kept on the website for 5 YEARS

I have reported the original project, but many remixes have that NSFW artwork kept in there. I have the remix tree for it which is found here.
Many of those remixes have removed the NSFW Art on there, but some are left there but hidden

And Newgrounds had a age rating system too, but many users can just lie about their age to play the NSFW games

Heres the thing, the Scratch Project editor does not censor the swearing audio, making users to edit out the swearing themselves (even if it has minimum swearing)

Ok, but this will not be implemented. It's rejected, by the Scratch Team, the people who run Scratch.Yes, but even if they are there, they aren't allowed. Does this mean people can make whatever they want without checking with the age rating system?

No, it means that everyone should be making kid friendly content!

There is no age rating system because all projects are supposed family friendly. It's literally an education site, not a platform for your entertainment and whatever you want.Ok, but this will not be implemented. Thanks for the quote! Closed as rejected. Rejected.7.2 A 13+ version of the Scratch website or age-restricted content

Please use the Report button on any projects that are inappropriate for the Scratch website. If a project is only appropriate for ages 13+, then it is not okay to be shared on Scratch.
