I was thinking, if you guys could make youtube that is like scratch? So, instead of creating games, you can upload videos and stuff? I know that you will probably say no, but please think about it!

Why not just use Youtube?

are you suggesting to completely make the whole scratch platform like youtube and get rid of coding or just have a platform like the forums where you can upload videos

I was thinking that they could copy scratch into a new website and make it youtubey, like so it can only be appropriate stuff, and that parents can set video sharing on/off

Yes. Mostly so that kids can have a youtube that is safe!

Most people are probabably under 13 and cant upload to youtube, partial support, but it should be unofficial

Why not use YouTube?

FMV! YAY! We all love FMV because it's the 90s and stuff and our PCs are too slow to handle just a few thousend polygons and we have those CDs with lasers and stuff and why not store movies on them that get triggered sometimes whenever - ooooops 25 years too late.

Anyway, if you want to have something like YT, why not just use YT? Having videos in projects could be cool but I prefer interactive stuff because it's just cooler.

But why? If it's blocked, then ask the admin to unblock it. Or if you're using google, you can't really unblock it if you're under 13.

But then you're saying that to get a thing like Youtube. I mean, if it's blocked you're not allowed to have it, right?
