It's not modern. If you want modern, use Edge. There are also many risks of getting malware.

No, it's not, I downloaded it off chrome and it's your fault if you downloaded it off IE. Anyways, this is scratch, and IE is annoying to use anyhow

Why make Scratch usable on something that will never be used in a few months (It may as well take a few months to do that anyway)

Hardly anyone, it isn't really helpful to put the site on a browser next to no one can use, the only time I use Internet Explorer is when a game on a site isn't working because only a few browsers were supported for a mini game, apparently the only one I had was IE

• IE poses a Security risk
  

It won't have anymore updates to increase Security, so that alone is a reason Scratch shouldn't be on it

All this and more has been stated in the chain you don't have any common reason why you can't use anything but IE

Unfortunately, Internet Explorer is not a browser that we are able to support for both technical and security reasons. If you don't want to use a modern browser, I would suggest downloading the offline editor.
