Paint Editor Update

Hi folks,

We’re excited to share an update to the Scratch Paint Editor!

So, what’s new?

Now you can use gradients in outlines. You can do this by clicking the outline of a sprite and choosing one of the gradient options along the top of the color palette menu:

Thanks for all your continued feedback and stay tuned for more updates in the future!

Yes, that is great. I was wondering why it wasn't there before, but it looks like the ST had it in development already.

I'm pretty happy with this update. I've often wished you could have gradients in an outline, so it's nice to see that happen!
By the way, who drew that coffee cup? It looks really good!
Also, could people please not make posts that just say “first” or anything like that? Sure, it might be cool to get the first post on an announcement but it gets kinda spammy after a while.

Nice! I remember hearing that it was being worked on, nice to see it actually get added. That is one nice coffee cup too.

It's a pretty helpful feature, I don't see why not.

I am sure many Scratchers will enjoy this update! Outlines in gradients would benefit for some drawings made in the Paint Editor!
